Dont stay here
Sold to us as two hotel room suite. Only one hotel room had A/C so kids slept in hotel room with no A/C.Mold over 1/2 of bath floor. OLD mattresses..sore backs! OLD bedding, filthy.NO screens on windows so they couldn't be opened from the 22nd floor since they were 12" above the kids beds.
GOOD DEAL FOR DOLLAR
hotel room WAS great SIZE AND spotless. NICE TO HAVE SMALL KITCHEN SO AS NOT TO EAT OUT ALL THE TIME. bathroom IS A LITTLE SMALL. FEW BLOCKS FROM BEACH,DOWNTOWN,ZOO, AND ALL SHOPS
Pretty Swell
Nice open aired entrance; secure building; studio apartment stay with nice lanai; walk to everything; near Wal-Mart; sleep here and hang out at the five star hotels on the beach; does have a bug problem and small bathroom, in addition otherwise Holiday Inn, Hawaii style.
Island Colony ok
This hotel was ok. the hotel room was large and the beds comfortable. The balcony overlooked the canal, which was nice, in addition it was noisy. There was some kind of truck that came twice a night and the beeping sounds when it backed up woke me up each time. The street noise was generally quite loud, though talked to someone on a higher floor (was on the 11th), and they said it was fine up there. There were a couple cockroaches, too, and ants, even though never used the kitchenette. Front desk service was good. The people were friendly and helpful.

The building was secure. swimming pool was great. There was a little store on the 6th floor. We stayed on the 23rd floor with a nice view of the city. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Our hotel room was spotless. We did seem to have to wait a while for the elevator in addition didnt mind. would definitely stay there again!!
